Sea green, lilac, silver.
Grey, not gray.
Colors that don’t shout—
they shimmer,
depending on the light.
I avoid red, gold.
They know who they are.
I prefer the hues that ask,
“What are we becoming today?”
Because I, too, am becoming.
Always.
